‘I’ve spent lots of time writing music on my ukulele & attended a really useful course at Rainbow Music which developed my song writing. I got through to the final of a singing competition this year & performed one of my original songs at Rainbow Music’s concert.’

‘I enrolled with Rainbow Music nearly 6 years ago as a “very” mature student to have piano lessons, not knowing what to expect & feeling very apprehensive. I needn’t have worried as I was immediately put at ease with my excellent teacher who gave me such confidence, exactly what I needed at my age, & now 6 years on I am studying grade 6. An added bonus is being joined by my son-in-law Andy (guitar) & my granddaughter Laura (piano) so it has become a family affair, although 3 generations apart it has given us all something in common, more importantly we all enjoy our lessons & the friendly relaxed atmosphere Rainbow Music gives. I am now encouraging my 76 year old husband to take up the ukulele!!!’

‘I have always wanted to play an instrument, but thought that it would be beyond me. At 43 I thought I’d be too old to learn. How wrong I was. The staff & tutors of Rainbow Music have guided me in every step, from my first budget Ukulele to performing in public after only playing for 6 months. It has been a fantastic journey, one I am so glad I have made. The lessons & Ukuele Band on Wednesdays are so much fun. Everyone has differing abilities yet each of us is developing their skills at a steady rate. I simply love my Ukulele.’
